Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulla Al Thani is a Co-founder and Chairman of Irth Capital Management LP. Prior to Irth, Mohamed was Director of the Americas and Business Development for the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), one of the largest global sovereign wealth funds. He was responsible for its US and the Americas transaction origination, execution, portfolio monitoring and relationship management for the Sovereigns portfolio companies across all sectors.

Prior to QIA, Mohamed was a Managing Director at QInvest LLC where he was responsible for originating and executing international investment opportunities and restructuring mandates for the sovereign wealth fund and state governmental clients. Mohamed previously worked at the Liaison Department of the Amiri Diwan where he was tasked to work on special assignments with QNB Capital, Credit Suisse (New York) as well as Ooredoo.

Mohamed holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Northeastern University, Boston, MA.
